Installation & Fault Diagnosis

D4S LED upgrade globes must always be installed as a matched pair. Installing only one globe may cause the HID system to operate incorrectly.

These LED globes require a fully functioning OEM HID system to operate. If your headlight is not working, the fault is not always the globe — OEM HID systems include the globe, ballast, wiring, relays, and fuses.

A simple way to test is to swap the globes from one side of the vehicle to the other. If the fault follows the globe, the globe needs replacing. If the fault stays on the same side, the ballast or wiring may need attention.
