This is a direct OEM replacement for the Matsushita / Panasonic EANA090A0350 headlight control module, used in a range of Nissan, Infiniti and Subaru vehicles fitted with factory D2S or D2R HID xenon headlights.
It is designed to restore reliable operation to the factory HID xenon headlight system and connects directly to the existing factory wiring without coding or rewiring.
The EANA090A0350 and EANA2X512637 are cross-reference numbers for this Matsushita / Panasonic ballast family. Nissan and Infiniti OEM references include 28474-8991A, 28474-89904, 28474-89905, 28474-89915, 28474-8991D and 28474-8992D. Always compare the part number on your original ballast before ordering.
Headlight flickering, failure to ignite, intermittent operation or one headlight cutting out can indicate a ballast fault. However, similar symptoms can also be caused by the HID globe, igniter, wiring or connections, so diagnosis is recommended before replacing the ballast.
1 x Ballast unit. If replacing both sides, add 2 to your cart.

Vehicle Compatibility
Always verify fitment by matching the part number on your original ballast before ordering. Vehicle applications can vary according to model, year, trim level and factory headlight equipment.
Not sure if this is the correct ballast? Check the part number printed on your original unit, or email a clear photo of the ballast label to [email protected] and we will help confirm the correct replacement.
Is It the Ballast or the Globe?
Before replacing the ballast, swap the working HID globe from the opposite headlight into the non-working side if it is safe and practical to do so.
If the fault moves to the opposite headlight with the globe, the globe is likely faulty.
If the non-working side still fails with a known-good globe, the fault may be with the ballast, igniter, wiring or connections and further diagnosis may be required.

Yes. Matsushita / Panasonic manufactured this 5th generation ballast and assigned it various internal part numbers including EANA090A0350, EANA2X512637, and EANA11C12122. Nissan and Infiniti then assigned their own OEM part numbers to the exact same unit, most commonly 28474-8991D and 28474-8991B. They are all completely interchangeable and function identically.
No, this ballast is supplied as a unit only. The igniter is sold separately. Please contact us if you need assistance sourcing the correct igniter for your vehicle.
If your HID globe is in good condition, replacing a faulty ballast will cure flickering, random shut-offs, and failure to ignite. We always recommend swapping your working globe to the faulty side first to confirm whether the globe or the ballast is the root cause of the problem.
No. This OEM replacement ballast is completely plug-and-play. It connects directly to your vehicle's factory wiring harness without the need for any dealership programming, coding, or modifications.
