OEM HID Xenon Globe Igniter — Mitsubishi W3T19171 / Honda 33129-S0K-A01 Replacement
This is the direct OEM replacement for the Mitsubishi Electric W3T19171 HID xenon globe igniter — widely known by its Honda part number 33129-S0K-A01. It is fitted to a wide range of Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi, and Acura vehicles equipped with factory D2S or D2R HID headlights.
The igniter is the unit that attaches directly to the back of the D2S or D2R xenon globe. It generates the high-voltage pulse required to strike the HID arc and ignite the globe. When it fails, your headlight will not ignite at all, or will attempt to start and immediately cut out.
This is a 100% plug-and-play replacement. No modifications, no rewiring, and no coding required — it connects directly to your existing Mitsubishi ballast wiring and globe.
1 x Igniter unit. If both headlights are affected, add 2 to your cart.

Is It the Igniter or the Ballast?
The igniter and ballast work together to start the HID arc. Knowing which one has failed saves you money.
Igniter fault signs: Headlight attempts to ignite but immediately cuts out, or produces a brief flash then goes dark. The ballast is receiving power but the arc cannot be struck.
Ballast fault signs: Headlight does not attempt to start at all. No flash, no flicker — completely dead.
If you are unsure, swap the igniter from the working side to the non-working side. If the fault moves with the igniter, it is the igniter that needs replacing.
