Headlight flickering, a headlight that won't ignite, or one side that cuts out after a few minutes are the most common signs of a failed DDLT003 ballast. If swapping the globe to the opposite side makes no difference, the ballast is the fault.

DDLT003 vs DDLT002 — Which One Do You Need?
These two Denso ballasts look similar but drive different globe types and are not interchangeable:
Check the globe type and part number printed on the label of your original ballast before ordering.
Is It the Ballast or the Globe?
Before replacing the ballast, swap the working globe from the opposite headlight into the non-working side.
If the light still fails with a known-good globe, the ballast is the fault.
If the headlight works briefly then cuts out, or flickers on startup, this is typically a ballast fault rather than a globe fault.

What globe type does the DDLT003 use?
D4S and D4R HID xenon globes only — 42V (AC45V), 35W. Do not use D2S or D2R globes — they require a different strike voltage (85V) and will not work with this ballast. If your vehicle uses D2S globes, you need the DDLT002 instead.
What is the difference between DDLT003 and KDLT003?
