D8S 25W OEM HID System

D8S HID xenon globes are designed for specific 25W factory HID systems and operate differently from older 35W systems. They are not interchangeable with D1S, D2S, D3S, D4S, D4R or D5S globes.

Always replace D8S globes with D8S to maintain correct operation with the factory ballast and headlight system.

The simplest way to identify a faulty component is to swap parts from one side of the vehicle to the other. If the fault follows the globe, the globe is faulty. If the fault remains on the same side, further diagnosis of the HID system is required.

If the issue does not follow the globe, the fault may be related to wiring, relays, fuses or the headlight control system. We recommend diagnosis by a qualified auto electrician.
