These two modules look similar but are different revision levels. Check the part number printed on the label of your original unit before ordering:

• 4G0.907.397.P / .R (this product): Earlier revision — fitted to Audi A1, A3, A4, A5, A6, A8, Q3, Q5, VW Touareg, Skoda Octavia and Yeti (2011–2019).
• 4G0.907.397.D / 4G0.907.697.D: Later revision — also fitted to a similar range of Audi and VW models. Check your original part number to confirm which revision you need.

Is It the DRL Module?

Before replacing the module, check whether the fault is consistent on one side only.

• If the DRL fails to turn on, flickers on startup, or triggers a dashboard warning, the control module is the most likely cause.
• Swap the module from the working side to the non-working side (if accessible). If the fault moves with the module, the module is confirmed as the fault. If the fault stays on the same side, the issue may be a different fault.
