Bosch AL 1307329115 — OEM HID Ballast Direct Replacement
This OEM replacement ballast replaces the Bosch AL 1 307 329 115 and 1 307 329 293 headlight control modules — as fitted to Audi, VW, Mercedes-Benz, Skoda, and Seat vehicles from 2004 to 2010.
Plug straight in — no coding, no rewiring, no modifications required. Restores reliable, flicker-free operation to your factory D1S, D1R, D2S, or D2R HID xenon headlight system.
Common symptoms of a failed Bosch AL ballast: one headlight flickering, failing to ignite, or a dashboard headlight warning. If the globe has been ruled out, the ballast is the most likely cause.
1 x Ballast unit. If both headlights are affected, add 2 to your cart.

Is It the Ballast or the Globe?
Before replacing the ballast, swap the working globe from the opposite headlight into the non-working side.
If the light works with the known-good globe, the original globe has failed — not the ballast.
If the light still fails with a known-good globe installed, the ballast is the cause and needs to be replaced.
Flickering briefly before shutting off, or taking several attempts to ignite — this is a classic ballast fault, not a globe fault.
