Unlike a standard two-sided LED globe, the Pro Vision Lighting™ D4R LED upgrade is specifically engineered for OEM D4R reflector headlights. The D4R design incorporates a precision ridge that mimics the shielding function of the original D4R HID xenon globe, helping control the light cut-off and maintain the correct beam pattern within the reflector housing.
This D4R-specific design positions the LED light source correctly within the reflector to provide controlled road illumination while reducing unwanted glare and beam scatter. It is designed specifically for vehicles originally fitted with D4R HID globes and should not be substituted with a standard D4S-style LED globe.
1:1 OEM Size: The D4R LED globe is designed to match the physical dimensions of the original D4R HID globe. This provides clearance inside the original headlight assembly and allows the factory dust cover to be refitted without cutting, modifying or replacing the cover.

These LED globes require a fully functioning OEM HID system to operate. If your headlight is not working, the fault is not always the globe — OEM HID systems include the globe, ballast, igniter, wiring, relays, and fuses.
A simple way to test is to swap the globes from one side of the vehicle to the other. If the fault follows the globe, the globe needs replacing. If the fault stays on the same side, the ballast, igniter, or wiring may need attention.
