Designed to deliver instant full brightness, a crisp 6000K pure white output, and improved night-time visibility, these globes are a significant step up from ageing or degraded factory HID burners that have lost their original performance over time.

D2R Reflector Beam Control & 1:1 OEM Fitment

Unlike a standard two-sided LED globe, the Pro Vision Lighting™ D2R LED upgrade is specifically engineered for OEM D2R reflector headlights. The D2R design incorporates a precision ridge that mimics the shielding function of the original D2R HID xenon globe, helping control the light cut-off and maintain the correct beam pattern within the reflector housing.

This D2R-specific design positions the LED light source correctly within the reflector to provide controlled road illumination while reducing unwanted glare and beam scatter. It is designed specifically for vehicles originally fitted with D2R HID globes and should not be substituted with a standard D2S-style LED globe.

1:1 OEM Size: The D2R LED globe is designed to match the physical dimensions of the original D2R HID globe. This provides clearance inside the original headlight assembly and allows the factory dust cover to be refitted without cutting, modifying or replacing the cover.

Direct Factory HID Connection: The upgrade connects directly to the vehicle's existing OEM HID ballast system. No ballast bypass, additional wiring or modification to the factory headlight system is required.

Installation & Fault Diagnosis

D2R LED upgrade globes must always be installed as a matched pair. Installing only one globe may cause the HID system to operate incorrectly.

These LED globes require a fully functioning OEM HID system to operate. If your headlight is not working, the fault is not always the globe — OEM HID systems include the globe, ballast, igniter, wiring, relays, and fuses.

A simple way to test is to swap the globes from one side of the vehicle to the other. If the fault follows the globe, the globe needs replacing. If the fault stays on the same side, the ballast, igniter, or wiring may need attention.
