This is the direct OEM replacement for the Matsushita / Panasonic NZMIC111LBCA000 headlight control module. It is fitted to a massive range of Japanese vehicles, including the Nissan 350Z/370Z, Subaru WRX/Forester, Mazda CX-7/MX-5, and Honda Civic/CR-V, equipped with factory D2S or D2R HID xenon headlights.

Is It the Ballast or the Globe?

Before replacing the ballast, swap the working globe from the opposite headlight into the non-working side.

If the light still fails with a known-good globe, the ballast is the fault.

If the headlight works briefly then cuts out, or flickers on startup, this is typically a ballast fault rather than a globe fault.
